You know that smell when you open a brand new boardgame? What makes it smell so good? The cardboard? The freshly dried ink? Or is it something more ineffable, like the nostalgia of a childhood long since passed?

We have no idea. But we knew one thing: we wanted to make a candle that smelled like a boardgame.

So we teamed up with Brooklyn-based fragrance studio Joya to do just that.
